A statement from Eryn's mother:

A male driver, under the influence of alcohol and drugs and without a valid driver's license offered a male and female a ride home. Both passengers trusted and put faith in the driver to get them home safely. The driver blew past a red light, well over the speed limit. The driver was driving a Honda Prelude which slammed into a SUV carrying 5 people. All 3 people in the Honda Prelude died. All 5 people in the SUV were taken to the hospital.

As the mother of Eryn, this tragedy will never heal the open wound in my heart and the hearts of all who knew & loved her. She was a daughter who will never marry or have children. The driver had no regard for human life. 3 families are torn apart & life will never, ever be fulfilled.
