Griefworks BC exists through a partnership between Children's & Women's Health Centers of British Columbia and Canuck Place Children's Hospice. Mission Statement Griefworks BC facilitates access to bereavement support when and where it is needed. Goal Statements The goals of Griefworks BC are to: Encourage standardized, evidence-based bereavement support. Facilitate access to a structured, coordinated, comprehensive and standardized bereavement program for people in BC. Create community awareness on access to bereavement support. Provide bereavement education, training and support for service providers. Build organizational capacity. Support bereavement-related research initiatives.
